I've had this camera, the all-black model for close to a year and
this is the first roll shot, Reala 100:

Film is badly curled, have ordered an ANR insert from Betterscanning.

Very sharp... and the color rendition is very nice!

I never grew to like my Yashica, but I'm glad there are lots of people out there who disagree with me.

Besides, you do have the "kewl" black version, right? ;)

Thanks, Francisco! Yes, the all-black version with included hood,
case, wide angle and tele lens attachments (won't use these) plus
a little tripod:

And won't be using that viewfinder in the hotshoe, either. This is a
quick snap when I first got the camera. Got this off ebay for $28 with good lightseals and a fresh battery!

I agree with Fransisco - good results, but I also did not get on with the Electro. That was however, a fantastic deal for the full kit.

I don't quite understand how exactly people get SUCH deals, but hey, it's nice there are people with good karma :)

I think for first roll this are very nice pics, so is Reala too!

Last weekend I used my YG35 but seems it has problem with metering in low light...although I have achieved long exposures pointing to darkness without film, I yet have to get properly exposed available darkness shot. As daylight camera mine is quite OK.

Thanks for your comments, guys. I have to admit, aside from rather adverse light in most of the shots I've seen so far on the
roll, this may not end up as a permanent resident in my house.;)

I used cheap Arista and Wallies Fujicolor 400 in my Oly 35RC's, and
they knocked my socks off! Dunno, will try a few more rolls in
different situations, some lowlight stuff downtown, it does have a
nice, fast f1.7 lens.

Thanks again,

Bill

Just did two exposures (f1.7 and f8) in dark with some street lights on - hm, shutter did stay open for more or less proper time, as heard. Probably human error on previous rolls ;)

Thanks again, for your comments! I plan on trying some nighttime shots, next.
I've decided this camera is a keeper!
