Hi all,

Having lost a bunch of Leica gear recently, I thought that this would be a good time to play with some old Russian cameras - my first is a Zorki4 with a (seemingly) lovely silver Jupiter 8 lens.

Attached are a couple of pictures taking from the first test roll - I'm quite pleased with the results in general. My biggest issue is that the vf isn't a true representation of the 35mm frame - this maybe due to my inexperience with the camera, misalignment or parallax. Or perhaps a combination of all three. The good news is that this 'problem' is nothing that a few paces backwards can't solve!

I'll post more when I run a better roll through ...

Framing problems seem to be the most common with the Zorki-4. Perhaps because it has the largest and brightest viewfinder of the Soviet cameras one is actually tempted to use it for framing. I prefer to think of it as an aiming device instead.
