Playing with my dog the ball rolled under the sofa and the dog, as usual, dived after. Due to size constraints he can get in but not out on his own – a fact he chooses to ignore if the ball slips from him. That left me ample time to pick up the camera, focus at nearest possible distance and crank up the ISO. However, the resulting shutter times were ludicrous, that is until I removed the lens cap . I finally got down again and unable to view through the finder simply decided to fire at will. As I tripped the shutter he dropped the ball resulting in one dog in distress. Panicking he simply lifted the sofa and darted after the ball. Although mis-focused I like the effect of the bouncing blue ball.

Edited to add: RD1s + Voigtländer 35mm Pancake II and ISO 1600, shutter time 1/15 and 2/3 extra stop exposure compensation. Developed via PhotoRaw (vivid).
