First post and first photos with my "new" Plaubel Makina 67

Hello Jochen,

great images indeed. I actually remember looking at some of these before I finally decided to buy a Makina myself! I got the version after the 67, the Makina 670, which has the same lens but some minor upgrades.

I have only shot a couple of rolls so far, but I also fell in love with the camera already. It's just amazing to be able to carry around a light and quite small medium format camera with a great lens.

When scanning in black and white negatives today (on a Minolta Dimage Pro), I realized I get much more interesting images when scanning in color negative mode. I do loose shadow detail, but seem to gain detail in other areas, and I like the interesting color cast. This was my first experiment with Fomapan 100; here an example:

I quite like it.

Beautiful shots! Always loved the Plaubel Camera's, how can you not love a Nikkor lens!
Stunning results on Neopan, they seem alot crisper than what ive gotten using 35mm, deeper black. Im gonna have to get a few rolls to run through my brony.

RFF member Simon Larbalestier, perhaps best known for his album cover work for the Pixies, also used the Plaubel Makinas:

. . . The Makinas were used influentially by a number of prominent British photographers, including Chris Killip and Martin Parr [from memory - New Brighton] and Paul Graham [again from memory - 'The A1', shot with the Sneider 47mm shift lens 6x9 version] . . .

love the first b&w ones... you got beautiful tones out of neopan 400. makina is a great medium format camera, no doubts...
