I use water from my dehumidifier ... obviously this is not an option if you live in an area that has low relative humidity.
I store the "raw" water in 5 gallon jugs, then filter through Brita, then through a coffee filter. I normally still use PhotoFlo, but I use it at half the recommended strength, i.e. 1:400. I rarely have any problem with water spots.

Congratulations. Your images look great. I shoot both film and digital.
