The travel of the shutter release is disconcertingly long and the effort more than I'm accustomed to, but I'm willing to put up with the downsides when I want a big neg. I prefer a 6x9 for portraiture over 6x7 or 6x6, so I think it'll do the trick.
For $279, I figured I couldn't go wrong.

Thanks for the info. I couldn't get the $279.00 G690 because I didn't have the money at the time. Maybe next time. PM me if you aren't happy with it in the future.
