Finally gave in to temptation and got me one of these little gems. I've shot a few 35s in my life but i must say this lens really takes the cake. I now wonder why i keep any of my rf gear around any more. This camera does everything my RF does.... and it works well in pouring rain as well!

Had one once but had to trade it, a great tool I found myself using more than my M6 at the time. You've got a good group of photos there.

I just bought my third hexar af - kep going back to it, in spite of three leicas and a gx100. It really is a great camera and superb lens !

My first roll on Hexar was so-so, because it was just a quick roll of some supermarket cheap-o stuff, that's what was laying around the office when the camera arrived.
But then my second roll!... this camera seriously impressed me! The results really had this genuine official "street" feel to them. The lens is excelent for that reason in my oppinion. I'm not sure about its technical merits, but I'll definitely chime in with those who consider it a serious lens. Hexar also was the first camera that made me seriously appreciate 35mm focal length. I never gave it any significance before, but for some reason I kept thinking how well I could fit everything into the frame with Hexar (maybe because with all the autometion frame was the only thing to think about?)

Negative points - bloody flimsy shutter release! Hexar affecionados know, or SHOULD know about its all to common pronness
To erratic shutter behaviour where one of the steps in halfpress-focus-shoot series would start constantly failing. It happens to everyone, and will sooner or later happen to You! Boohoohoo! Shutter button’s badly made. I was able to fix it quickly thanks to access to qualified people in my immediate surroundings. And the shutter button still stutters once in a while (and I just have this 5% “did it work?” doubt every time I fire J ).
Still, I do not let these technical glitches get in the way of me enjoying Hexar because the results are tasty. TASTY!
