The scanner is terrible. Really awful. All detail and subtlety is lost. It should be noted that A&I did a remarkable job with the developing. I plan on taking the negs into the darkroom myself later.

Both cameras are super crisp, the Canonet especially. The Fed seemed to go very grainy in lower light conditions, but when it was just right it's surprisingly good. I've got the ol' industar-61 on it.

For most of the Canonet shots I had a green filter on there which really pumped up the contrast with the Ilford 400 c-41 b&w I was using.

(Despite the photos being called "Fed 5" it's actually a Fed 4.)

My photos.

The link is working fine for me. Martin, I really like your photos - especially the first one, the street scene with the woman in the foreground! I don't know if she was aware you were photographing her, but with that ultra-quiet Canonet shutter, I'm sure you could have gotten away with it even at close range.

Hi Martin,
The link works fine for me too. Nice shots, I like the one of the two ladies on the bench. Curt in Canada.

Actually I like the Fed photos much more than the Canonet shots - they have a 'soft sharpness' to them. And no, don't ask me to elaborate on that :)
