I managed to snatch one off of ebay a couple weeks back and it arrived yesterday after work. I finished my roll with the new lens today. Here's a shot I particularly liked...

My first impression: it's completely impractical for most shots as it's a little too wide! Of course, that won't stop me from having any fun with it 🙂

Barry: Haha, considering I've had it just over 24 hours, I don't see myself selling it anytime soon, but I'll definitely keep you in mind if the time comes! 🙂

Joe: it certainly isn't, but fortunately it's nowhere near the size of SLR lenses, so packing it in addition to a regular daily lens is almost a non issue.

Carl: Thanks! I sort of felt the same, which is why I opted to save a few bucks and go the used route.

haha....you Canadiens and your "ehs".

Yes I am a Bob & Doug fan. And yes, I've visited CA for a night & witnessed firsthand the "eh" phenomenon.

But I live in the South & there are too many cultural phenomena to list!

Here's to all the quirks that make us residents of any corner of this 3rd rock away from the sun unique!

If I found one for a good price and I had some disposable incomme I don't see how I would be able to resist!

It's how we named our country! We threw letters into a hat and drew them to spell it:

"C, eh?"
"N, eh?"
"D, eh?"

🙂
