i just got my roll of arista edu ultra 100 (aka fomapan 100) and souped it up in fomadon r09 (rodinal analogue). i have always used a HP5 with hc 101.
i shot some brackets of a constant light subject from 50 iso to 400 with half steps between each of the traditional iso's. according to the manufacture you can shoot anything between 50-400 and not adjust the dev time. i got usable negs out of each iso. still waiting to test push it to 800...
here is a scan from EI 100. 1+80 @ 68f/20c for 14 mins.
i have been shooting film for over 10 years (i am 26) but this is the first time i have shot BW 100 iso.. i just wish my flatbed could properly render the frame... ala and all it is a fun change of pace as oregon is brightening up.
the second roll is flattening under a funk & wagnalls dictionary, i will scan them up tonight and post them.

Fine looking results, and your architectural photos on Flickr are beautiful. I have tried a 1+40 time of 7 minutes and would have tried a 1+80 time of 10-11 minutes but I think you have found a really good "solution" at 1+80 and 14 minutes. What do the negatives look like, are they dark?

thanks! the first two rolls built up good density and looked very balanced and contrasty. i found i was actually developing closer to 70 degrees, the water from the tap was 70 but i was figuring in temp loss over the long devel time. i did a couple of rolls at 68 from the tap and was not as pleased, i hate flat negs because there is less gradation in them and you have to slam levels.
i choose 1+80 both out of economy and i read that higher dilutions are "sharper."
i like this film better than the HP5 i have always shot. its got good latitude and that is the next experiment. i can shoot 50-400 with no time adjustment (though for 400 i would prolly give it a little more) and the ability to push it to 800 makes it a very versatile film for $17 per 100ft.

I've never really heard much about this film but I am thinking of getting some! Has anyone tried the 200 speed film?

Well like you, I love my Tri-x but I was looking for something with a little tighter grain. I can go with Tmax 100 and it looks good, but sometimes I just like trying out other films that you can't get very easily around here. Just for the heck of it!

I've shot the 200 and dipped it in Rodinal.

They were developed in the same batch: Rodinal 1+50, 20C, 18min w/ reduced agitation.

Thanks Jason. They look great. I think I am going to have to dig out my developing tanks and try a roll or two someday!

You suck Max!
My fiancee in Poland is going to see if she can find some in Lodz. If so I will get some when I get there in September!
btw, I added your link to my blog finally. Sorry for the delay!

i leave for spring break and suddenly everyone posts... nice to see the example of the 200!
well, i went out for a morning latte with my father and shot a few portraits. it was kinda dark and overcast and my meter suggested 1/15th @ f1.8 iso100, so i shot that.
i souped in 1+40 fomadon r09 (i usually do 1+80) @ 70deg 7.5 mins
some negs of other stuff on the roll came out great but the latte shots were very dark.
scanned them just to see what i could get and i was surprised!
