Well at least Fall weather here in Florida. TS Noel did a good job scrubbing the atmosphere clean in time for the first big cold front of the season. Temperatures are down to a bone-chilling (for us) 66F and may get all the way down to 60F. Brrrr.

Carlos, this could be part of "fall sunsets in south florida"-series. Not a bad idea for a project, don't you think? ;)

Pfft. People here in Minne-so-tah are already salivating over Winter. Goes against all logic (well, human logic, anyway), but the prospect of calling 10F a "nice sunny day" has never been appealing to me.

Bone-chilling (for Minne-so-tah) is -40 F

In order:

Shadowfox: that sounds like a great idea. Do we set that up in the photo forums? I know that site management wants to have more photos and less quibbling about gear.

Sitemistic: Thanks. That was the look I was going for and it came out as I wanted. I didn't have a lot of time to get set up and the table-top tripod I got from Hankg worked like a champ for that 1.5s exposure.

Gabriel: I was being sarcastic. Florida is ludicrously hot even in Winter. We look forward to it here too. Temps in the low 40's are a welcome change around here even if it only lasts for a week or two before it starts to warm up again.

Will, please :)
You'd have to talk to the ones who are in charge of the initiative. I use flickr myself, to me it's easier to set up a set from there and populate my blog/post/what have you.
