First test with a "damaged" Summitar 5 cm f/2

Hi guys!

Recently I bought a very nice M2... so I had to get some lenses too. The first one is a "damaged" Summitar 5 cm f/2 in Ltm mount, given to me by a friend. While waiting for delivering the Ltm to M adapter, I tested it on digital (Fuji X-T10) and on Film, mounted on my Canon 7 Rf.

As I write on my Film Blog (You can check it of course, to see and read more about 😀 ) The appearence of the inner lenses wasn't good at all..... but the results seems to be very good..... MAybe I was lucky, or maybe Leitz lenses are just... great! 😉

Nice test of the "damaged" Summitar on your blog. I agree the Summitar is a splendid lens (I've got two) both in terms of its construction and aesthetics. Will you be able to keep the sample you used?

Yep.... it's a "no limit" loan..... as my friend got another one.... 😀 😀
