First thing to go

X100 is just two months old, I reckon I changed the battery four times. Yesterday I opened the battery compartment cover and the battery popped out shooting the orange latch skywards.
So the latch broke down.
The engineerinMyg of this part is very poor, I think either miscalculated and/or badly casted.
Anyway I won't issue any guarantee claim as I don't want to wait for the camera to return; luckily the cover lid is enough to push the battery and make contact with the electrodes.
Anybody had a similar problem?
(btw I'm very satisfied with this camera)

I've heard of it happening before, but it doesn't seem to be very common at all. I've had mine since October 2011 and the battery latch has never given me problems. There was probably a faulty one somewhere in production for this.
