OK - here are a couple of photographs from my first two through the GSN.

They were both HP5 developed in XTOL 1:2 for 12 1/2 minutes then scanned on an
Epson 3200. I don't really like the scan quality but I like the exposure from the camera. (anyone have a magic bullet for B&W printing on an Epson 2200 inkjet to remove the color cast?)

Hope you like them.

They look good, it appears you have a winner in the GSN lottery. Good pad of death, working electronics.

Enjoy the camera.

Thanks Jon - I do have some doubts about the pad of death though - the hi / lo lights do flicker a little when they come on - I thought I read they should be steady?

Great Pics! Now try some Leica film .... ahem....Kodachrome :) What a great little camera. Someone mentioned in a thread on PN that there are people in Japan that modify their Yashica lenses with a LTM. Can you believe that? I can.

The pad of death is not necessarily the reason for flickering lights. I replaced the pad in one of the two GSN's i have and the lght still flicker, If i remove the bottom plate and plow some air into the hole, they stop flickering for a while, but then it comes back. It should be some electrical contact issue. But it does not bother when shooting.

my GSN has the same flickering lights.. and often require a little 'warm up' by working the shutter release button a bit before they kick in.. many people have the same problem with their GSN's
