Fish Market in Tinh Gia, Thanh Hoa province, Vietnam

Numbers 1, and 4 from the first set are very moving pictures. Great set all together, thanks for sharing!

I personally like the second set better.
Closer interaction with people and their expressions. Good work.

The second set is good, but I loved the first. Has a totally different feel.

First and last pictures were my favorites from this first set. Nice job.

Van Don fish market

Van Don fish market

Hi all,

Recently I had a chance to visit Van Don fish market, another one in Quang Ninh province (about 300 km to the North from Thanh Hoa province)
I think it would be better to post pictures to this topic also since they have the same themes.

Hi anh Trung Nguyen,
Great photos, I like this series very much, and wishing to go here one time. Cheers,

Khiem Vang

Great pictures. THIS is what I think about when I think of documentary photography.

My favorite is #4 in the first batch, but I also like several in the last batch.

Good work.

Thank you for posting these images here. Some are dark, and I am glad that you used B&W. The second set of images is especially good.

Your comment really encouraged me, thank you!

Thanks raid, you are right about some dark images which I took in very early morning (I learnt something about how and where to meter the light after that)
These day, I shoot mainly with B/W film (if not say that 100%). I found that suit better with my Leica gears and my taste. It is also interesting that many folks here prefer the 2nd set which I do not like as much as the 1st one.
