Today, I took out the M8 with the Rigid Summicron (with IR filter) for some local photography. It was raining, with periods of no rain, so I waited in the car until rain was minimum and took some photos at ISO160. I really like using the M8 with this lens. Using f 16 in a few shots identified a few dirt spots on the sensor, which I then removed with the cleaning pencil..

Your feedback is welcomed. Thank you.
I have many similar images taken with film cameras, and I find the M8 images equally good (to my eyes).

Oh wow, makes me me feel proud to finally own an M8 when I see these. The sharpness and b&w tones are outstanding. Great framing and reflections!

Wonderful Raid, but still a few sensor dust spots to get rid of! Try the cloning tool.

I am a big fan of B&W conversions, but I really like the wonderful pastel subtlety of your two color images!

Thanks. The M8 turned out to be an excellent camera. It is now my B&W camera most of the time.

Thanks, Keith. I cleaned the sensor afterwards. I need to remember how to use the cloning tool. I have used it once before.

Thanks. The rainy weather gave me good light for subdued colors and contrast. I use ISO`160 with natural color.

I continued taking photos today with the M8 plus the Rigid Summicron. It will not be images of fishing boats, though. I drove to Fort Pickens, on Pensacola Beach. The light is very special, a sit penetrates the fort chambers.

The M8 handles both, the color images and the B&W images very well.

Thank you, David. The old Rigid Summicron still has it. It is a lens with high resolution.

Raid, love the boat shots. Brings back fond memories . And of course the shots of your daughter are well , more than special. The old Fort is in need of some restoration.

Thank you, Tom.
Maybe they left the Fort preserved as is to look old.
They have park rangers there, and I did not see any signs for a new restoration project there.
I am also drawn to fishing boats and nets and pelicans. I see new things in the boats each time I drive over there,
