Can anybody come up with a list (I'm sure it's a short one...) of fixed-lens cameras that come with a 35mm body? I'm going to surf the net and see what's out there, but I thought maybe someone here might just have that tidbit of info at hand...

Best Regards!

Does that have a manual focus RF, or is it auto only? I've never played with one.

No split screen for the user, distance is measured with an
automatic infrared "RF". You can set the focus manually, but this is
cumbersome to use and only really useful to preset a
hyperfocal distance.

But for all practical measures the autofocus works really well since
you can "lock" the focus and then recompose.

The things that are not so frequently talked about and that I love
are the shrinking framelines, and the .6m min. distance.

Best,

Roland.

Totally agree. One of the best things about Hexar AF for me is the fast/accurate autofocus system. I find it faster & more reliable than my Contax G1/G2.
I'd rather make the most of this advantage than struggle with manually setting the distance with this camera.

The frameline moves automatically to compensate for parallax error, and it does so along a distance scale, so you can read the approximate focus distance accordingly.
