Are light meters replaceable ? I have a good looking, but non- working cell on my Minolta -P. Is this a part that can be had ?

Selenium cell meters can be repaired sometimes with silicon cells, or if you are lucky enough with another cell obtained from a donor camera.
The only problem is to find a cell of same size or smaller than the one originally fitted to the camera, provided the moving coil movement (indicator) is in good shape.
Silicon cells are available from several suppliers like Farnell or RS in Europe and Newark or Radio Shack in the USA, among others.
Unfortunately, you´ll must recalibrate the meter once repaired, with the aid of a dependable accurate meter.
