My M8 is back-focusing about the same amount with the 50/1.4 M and 90/4 Macro. I'm waiting for the 21 preASPH so I can check that one. I will be sending the 21 in for lens coding as soon as it arrives. Any one ever let Leica NJ calibrate their lens/camera? I would send everything to DAG (if he has time) but the camera is under warranty so theLeica NJ service whould be covered. However if the lenses may need some adjustment as well and I want to make sure it's done right the first time. Any experience, opinions?

Is it on focus at infinity? That is really infinity - say the moon or a distant mountain. If not, the adjustement is simple DIY. Lenses are off very rarely and are hard to adjust. So it is worth it looking at the camera first.

That was the first thing I checked -infinity looks good. So I am reluctant to start adjusting with allen wrench. In a pinch on location I wouldn't hesitate to make a small adjustment if need be to get a job done but I'd like someone with proper measuring equipment to get everything aligned for starters.
