Hi all
I bought a new CLE with Rokkor 40 one year before Minolta discontinued it. When a dealer told me he could not find Minolta lenses anymore I panicked and trade it for an SRL. It was one of the biggest photographic blunders of my life.
Ever since then I missed it and bitterly regretted that move. Until I found one from an English gentleman and good pro and bought it again used.
I always used the CLE in natural light, but I am puzzled, just in case I buy a flash, because I have no CLE flash manuals available.
BTW Minolta manuals are rather fuzzy anyway to say the least.
I learned that with the X-700 you can use this neat trick. Because TTL operates when one is in manual, if one compensates the exposure, it provides a flash compensation. Something similar happens on the Contax RTS III.
Anyone can tell me how it goes with the CLE?
What if one changes the ASA on the flash?
I appreciate your answers
