Flashes

I believe the Metz I have is the 34 CS-2, it works well. It is very compact, but only operates in manual mode, not that big of a deal for the few times I use it.

Usable? Probably yes. Fun to use? Perhaps not.

The presence of a flash hot shoe on a camera is no garantee that any flash sits there comfortably. It's a matter of balance. Big flashes that go well on SLRs are IMHO not well suited for small rangefinders (like the Bessa). It is no fun to have a small camera with a huge flash unit dangling upside down on a strap around your neck (I'm talking a Konica HexarRF with a Metz32 here).

So try before you buy.
