What! When did that happen? Okay, I'm looking now and the Explore page trick works. Maybe it's to help stop AI scrapers from stealing images for training data?

Try Flickriver. A Flickr viewer (released in 2007) using the Flickr API (About). Another way to view photos.

Menu and search bar at the top let's specify more detail. It also has an interesting "Lens Explorer".
