Flickr 2015 - Top Cameras

According to Flickr, the following chart is a breakdown of cameras in use by those uploading to flickr in 2015:

I would have expected more from mirrorless... and obviously for camera phones, instagram is most likely the more popular place to post.

I wonder if rangefinders are lumped in with mirrorless, or if they are included in the missing 2%?

Saw some posts elsewhere about this - Flickr unfortunately lumps many mirrorless cameras in as DSLRs (the Sony A7 was given as an example) so I think the graph is completely useless

Also I wonder if the amount of camera phone uploads is due to apps which back up your phone's camera roll automatically as opposed to people who use Flickr as a gallery of more 'serious' photographs (by which I mean people who selectively upload shots)

Haven't looked at that Flickr graph in a while, I remember it used to be more detailed than this though. Of course this kind of confirms what we already know though, so nothing new really

I don't know, they're still sort of the underdog no ? But yeah surely a little more than 2%, depends how Flickr defines mirrorless

And they lump my Nikon 1 mirrorless in as a P&S....

After the auto-tagging fiasco of earlier this year, I wouldn't think anyone could put any faith in the accuracy of this chart.
