I don't realy need a pro account, I've got a few pictures on flickr to submit to a group I used frequent. My gallery is on my blog which resides on a virtual server with which I can do whatever I wan't, that's more to my liking.

One day I'll start bloging, until then I play with websoftware

It would be easier to keep up with what is going on at Flickr, if you were there more.

I do tend to keep it too short,eh.

i recently renewed my pro account.

my only qualm is that you have to renew to get access to your old photos. So once you become pro, you are relatively stuck.

That's the idea. $24, or however much they decide to charge you, for life. It's called a utility, like electricity.

You do have the right to download all your pics back on you hard drive before it expires though... I really don't see the pb: as long as you pay you have the service, when you stop paying, well... they don't provide you the service anymore. Doesn't everything work like that nowadays?!
