Flo, the Street Photographer

Thank you so much for the link.
What a treasure she is!!

"I ain't gonna be what I used to be...
I just have to continue in a new style"

We need to read this when we feel whiny ...

I met Flo over 30 years ago. She probably would not remember me, but people who met her and have seen her work will remember.

BTW - she was kinda "hot" back then.

Probably the best kick up the arse I could have had. If I could be half the person under remotely similar circumstances.

I also love her 'someone to talk to' picture. Great stuff.

Oh and Keith - from the 'selfies,' I'd completely agree!

I'd always see her around town. She would be at almost every opening I ever went to. I worked in a camera store back then and she would every so often stop by.

Yup, there is still a lot of life in her. Glad to see this.

Thanks.

Pramodh, thanks for sharing. Gripping story, amazing person and I fully agree to "New York, NY what a great city". You can walk the streets and have a chance everytime, at every corner to see something like the "Israeli flag" (Almost Passover) made from the two police barrier stilts.
