Hi,

I'm about to emigrate (second time!) and will be flying to Sweden from NYC in January. Over the years, I have accumulated several 100ft bulk rolls that I've cold stored. I'd like to bring them with me. Has anyone tried flying with bulk film before? Will TSA swab the plastic packages inside the cardboard? Or will I get refused at security? I've only flown with 24/36 exposure rolls before.

Thanks,

~S

My previous experience is based more on the airport more than the individual. I have not flown much in the past 5 years. TSA was good about swabbing film in Detroit, Traverse City, Seattle and Anchorage. Do not put your film in your luggage. Have you considered shipping it overseas and clearly labeling it? Possibly shipping in a container with ice, or KEEP FROZEN label? Third party shipping, FedEx, UPS?

Good luck.
