When I last used my Foca 3 étoiles back in the summer, on scanning the negs without first examining them I noticed white bands halfway through the frames on about five images out of a 36 exp roll. I meant to get the camera shutter serviced, but didn't get round to it (good intentions and all that...), but I'd now like to get the camera back in use again. I wondered whether anyone can advise on Foca shutter adjustments - is this likely to be an operation do-able by handy users, and if so, can anybody advise. Conversely, if not, does anybody know of any good repairers who are handy with Foca rangefinder cameras? I'm from the UK, but will be in France for a part of January and then from February onwards for about seven months (on and off), so any recommended repairers in the UK or in the Paris area would be much appreciated.
With thanks in advance, David

A couple of links which may help if your destination is Paris:

There is a FOCA forum where you could find feedback from users:

I could eventually help you with French, if necessary.

Thanks for these links, JRMinox; I shall try Pro Service as they are based on Bd Port Royal, which will be very handy for me to get to.
