After two months of minimal use I recognized that the rangefinder of my ZI patch in the middle of the window does not align correctly at infinity. It happened that I was focussing a plane far away so the "problem" was easy visible.
I'm a little bit concerned about the weakness of the Cosinas in this particular area as I have a Bessa R4 as my wide angle body. This body is from autumn 2008 and has no issues up to now....
Another cam, a Mamiya 7II has from one day to another the same issue....after only two rolls - I got it sec. hand but checked carefully after the cam arrived.
Both cameras never got a hit or impact, are always in foam compartments and the other careful stuff.
From my analog and digital Nikons incl. D300 I'm not familiar with this kind of failures, is it common and the daily life of RF photography?
