Hello there! I have a few Yashicas. But on the first one I got, the Yashica EE ("drunken mens focus", or whats it called?
), focuspoint is really faint and hard to see. Anyone know if this is common problem, or maybe it was faded from the beginning, could it been a bad copy perhaps?
I'm just curious really, don't think I will fix it even if it's possible - I've got a Minister D I like more then the EE, and it has a good rangefinder thats easy to use. And I've got more models on the way I hope, have leading bid on a Minister III

I imagine the rangefinder patch is faded; I have an EE with a pretty bright patch that's easy to focus with. It's a nice camera though. The lens is the same one that's in the Lynx 1000 I believe which is, IMO, one of the best lenses Yashica ever made.

Thanks, yes that's probably it. A bit sad, for otherwise I like the EE, and it don't need batteries which is great!
