This post is in two parts I guess!
Has anyone thought of a great invention only to find that it already exists?

I thought to myself - 'it would be great to have a mirror that attached to the tripod mount, and was hinged to reflect the display so that you could shoot from low down similar to shooting with a TLR', wrote this down with the intention of researching it with a bit of free time. And with the first 30-40 seconds of research I found the 'Flipbac'. Great. Foiled!

Oh well. I'm sure lots of people will have witty stories about inventing the wheel or polymerase chain reaction or rock and roll ...

Has anyone used this flip bac? I thought it would be particularly neat on a Canon S90 (with the lens wheel being a particularly useful control in this case, giving a natural cradling kind of grip), or the Ricoh GRDIII (snap! mode, no zoom to complicate things).

And following on from this, has anyone had experience of both these cameras? They seem like (pocket) compacts which appeal to the sensibilities of RF users who like simplicity, manual controls and quick handling. I've read a load of stuff on both, but it's the opinions on this forum that would be most valuble as people tend to focus on the practical use, in-field rather than obsessing over noise levels in intrinsically noisy cameras.
