I've had a bit of a shopping spree lately, buying in some 5-6 cameras. I can't even remember exactly how many, but at least 2 of them have already arrived.

One is a Kodak Junior 2 MF folder that I bought for 12.50 euro on a dutch online auction site.

The other was sent to me by one of our members, Rob Biemer. The camera is wonderful! And I got it in return for half a kg of the nicest chocolates I could afford. Rob, great trade! And I hope you'll get them chocolates soon. 🙂

Photos taken by either camera will have to wait until I can get some 620 film. I saw that FotoImpex.de sells Fuji Acros (sp?) in 620 format but 5 euros per roll that's a bit expensive. So, I guess I'll have to reroll 120 onto 620 spools. Anyone any ideas how to go about?

Some Kodaks will take a regular 120 spool in the take-up position. It varies frommodelto model.

I haven't "rolled my own" but I have modified 120 spools to fit in my 620 folder, as a matter of fact I was shooting with it today. I cut the edges off the spools thus decreasing the diameter of the spool allowing it to fit into the camera. This is not ideal but it works well enough. I use a small pair of side cutters or dikes to remove enough plastic to allow the roll to "snap" into place.

J and C sells respooled 120 for 620 cameras if you want to buy it already spooled. Good luck and have fun with those classics, I am!
