Foma 200 pushed to 400 in FX-39

so I tried same formula as the OP, and I like how it handles late afternoon light (can't say much about shooting in full sun cause I messed up the metering and those are quite overexposed), very nice tonality, grain is not harsh at all.

Out of interest. Did you use any lens filters for these shots? What camera/lens?

If you go to R09/Rodinal you're close to iso 100 with this film.

Alternative for FX-39 I am using FX-37 with the same results however when making DIY, dirty cheap comparing to FX-39, also from G. Crawley.

Normally iso 160-200 like my Fomadon W27 Xtol compatible developer 1:1 which comes in a 1 liter powder packing.

These look real nice. Congratulations. Glad it worked well for you! I have actually gone back to Rodinal for a while. The negs are flatter that FX ones, but print really nicely in the darkroom.

first one is Jupiter-12 on Kiev II wide open, second and third it's S-M-C Takumar 50/1.4 stopped down to around f/4 I think, and last one is Biotar 58/2 wide open on Pentax SV, no filters used.

So I tried pushing in FX39 1+19, 28 minutes @24C.
I like the look, actually Fomapan 200 is my fav right now, I can set the mood with ISO and dev dillution.
