Hello.
I have this developer from Foma and have had fine results with tmax400 and delta100 but I am interested in other combinations with different films. Does anyone can help with their expiriences? There are not much examples on net.

P.S. sorry for my english :(

I have used the Fomadon P developer for these films: Ilford FP4+, Agfa APX 100 new, Fomapan 100, 200, 400. The best results were obtained with the first 3 films (about 100 ASA speed)- see the picture of the gate attached. For Fomadon 200 & 400, the shadows were very dark, without details. See comment nr. 55 with my pictures in this thread: http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149749&page=2
After developing 6-7 rolls, the Fomadon P became very contrasty developer. But it can be my failure.

Thanks. Last two films (hp5) I develop was also very contrasty with dark shadows and I tought that I didnt expose properly but maybe thats not an issue

Fomadon P W37 is equal to ID11/D76. In fact interchangeble. Fomadon Excel W27 is an Xtol cloon. Their photochemicals are made at the Foton factory which they bought in Poland many years ago.

Fomadon P is buffered with borax and boric acid to keep its pH value. However, after developing some rolls, pH value rises. Thus, hydroquinone becomes more active, resulting in contrasty negatives. This can be seen with Fomapan 200 and 400, which are prone to black shadows, without detail.
