I would just like to throw this idea out there and see if you think it has any merit for this forum.

As a member of several classic fly rod forums there is policy for all classified items to come with a three day inspection period during which the buyer may return the item. All items must be returned in the condition received return shipping and insurance is assumed by the buyer. It seems like a fair policy. Do you feel something similar would be applicable here?

Check with the head-bartender, aka Stephen Gandy, as he is the one deciding those things.

As for yours-truly... I think it'd be a really good thing, but there would be problems in, say, international sales. To be quite honest, I don't know if it's that necessary here. We all more or less know each other.

I certainly do! When I sell something on a forum I usually just tell them to mail me a check after they receive the item. I've never been burned either buying or selling. With Ebay and an unknown buyer or seller it's another story. I need to do some fishing! I got a photo in this morning's mail of a friend of mine holding a 17 pound snook that she caught on one of my bucktails!
