I only just had fish and chips a couple of days ago! Now I want it again! 😂

I love it. I first ate it was in Ayrshire in '65. "Two and six plus a sixpence extra chips" and it was just great. This place is about the best around. A friend wants to drive down to Nehalem to try a fish and chips down there. Why not? He and I can lie our asses off all the way down and back. And maybe get a good fish supper.

In Melbourne, we have excellent fish and chip culture, from at least the 50s and 60s. Many shops were run by white Australians, but also by Greek and Italian migrants, and more recently, Chinese families who make some mean fish and chips! We also have a few Irish style fish and chip shops which make spice bags, chips with curry sauce, and similar things. Making myself hungry again, haha!
