for all u IIIg lovers!!!

I have never been quite sure why black cameras are better than the chrome versions. (Apart from the eye of the user) Can someone tell me why this is so? Are the images better? Do you feel better? Please inform me.

Black cameras are not better; usually they are worse than chrome ones. They warm up easier. Higher temperatures combined with humidity cause fungus.
However, if you carry your camera often, the feel and look of a black painted one is much nicer than an eye-catching chrome one. Black paint cameras are more discreet. They wear nicer too. A heavily used black paint camera can still be attractive, a heavily used chrome one cannot.

I don't mean to brag, but I am the lucky owner of two IIIG's with assorted lenses found in a garage sale in California, I guess I was at the right place at the right time, the lady took $100 for both "old cameras and lenses" and I went home with a big smile I still haven't been able to erase from my face. Lucky break, I guess!
