For slow film, what are we left with?

Bonehead question: are Agfapan 100 and Agfaphoto 100 the same stuff? Which is APX 100? I've never gotten this straight, and suspect I'm missing something.

Agfapan (in all speeds for that matter) may be something other than Agfapan APX, namely its predecessor(s) - twenty years after there is not much of that around any more, but development tables often still list it, and while the differences mostly are small, there are some dev/film combinations where it may matter. Agfaphoto was only branched off years after the introduction of APX, and the film renamed even later, so Agfaphoto 100 will always refer to Agfaphoto APX 100. Unless you run into Agfaphoto branded colour film...

At least Ortho 25 will come in new production by OrWo Filmotec. About the Pan 25 I am not sure.
You have the Agfa Gevaert micro films: Copex, ATP1.1, CMS 20. Apart from Pan F+ the Rollei Retro 80S (E.I. 32-50) aviation type cubical film, very fine grained.
A least with Pan F+ or Retro 80S I can produce small grain equal to Acros 100 (E.I. 50) in an ultra fine grain type developer. About tonality, it depends on the contrast light situation for these films. Acros 100 is less critical.

Looks like macodirect.de still has APX-100 available in 135 for a good price. I've accumulated a couple hundred rolls in my freezer over the past few months. Even with shipping to the US, it is still a good deal if you order in bulk.
