Kodak has always produced great films, I have used them mostly for over 60 years. Even their cheap films produce good results; this is a 100% crop of Kodak Gold 100:

You lucky! I love Plus X. It was my absolute favorite:

Now that I think of it, with the exception of Fugi Velvia in my 4x5, and recently 1 roll of 120 Provia, and a couple of 35mm rolls of lford HP5+ I have always shot Kodak film.
