For those who do a Presoak, what's your time?

About a minute a few light inversions 3-5 x at the same temperature of my developer. This way I condition the film and the internals of the tank.

With some modern films - trix, hp5+, maybe others - presoaking slows down
developing. If you do presoak, then you have to recompute the developing time
(because the developing time in the charts assumes no presoaking).

By the way, this statement does not imply anything againts presoaking :angel: (nor in favor).

Technical question: haven't pre-soaked (for 35) but want to start for 120/Tmax. How does it change development times ? Shorten or extend ?

Well, developing times need to be extended, although establishing the right amount requires probably experimentation. It seems that the water absorbed by the presoaked emulsion acts as a barrier for the developer.
