Mirror mirror on the wall,
who is the best Smartphone Camera of all ?
http://smartphones.reviewed.com/fea...=usat&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=collab
while the idea of such a question makes me laugh,
the funny thing is today's smart phones turn out far better pictures
than their larger ultra mini film classic camera competitors of yesteryear !

I think its important to remember that the "SmartPhone" is really a multifunction communication device in search of an umbrella name. As such its no more a phone as it is a camera per se. That being said, its image making capabilities have come a long way since the original iPhone.

On my phone, Samsung galaxy s5, and flicker etc the pics look awesome, max aperture of f2.2 which it seems to use for every pic no matter subject or lighting.

My M5s need red dots!
Must admit that a friend of mine has an iPhone whose meter doesn't get easily fooled.

Picture taking is not the primary reason I own/use an iPhone.
That it has a decent camera in it is great; that something else like it might have a slightly better camera is of no consequence to me. YMMV

I like using the iPhone 6 in panorama mode. It works well for me,

The 6+ is a huge jump in picture making from the 4s.

They don't explain why they choose the Sony Z3 Compact in stead of the Z3..... But whatever, I was looking at a torchlight in a shop and was thinking "who buys these, every phone has a torch light app". These devices we call phones are indeed jacks of all trades.
I must say the Sony clearly is the winner, it is the only one that offers augmented reality elves

Yesterday, I was using a Zeiss 85mm/1.4 lens on a E-PL1 for sports photography indoors. I followed up with some panorama images with the iPhone6. What is wrong about doing it?

While I use the app more than most torches, I must have about a dozen very powerful ones. These are very useful tools. I put them in storage spaces, in cars, use while hiking, and so on. They ship these things from China for very little money.I was looking at a torchlight in a shop and was thinking "who buys these, every phone has a torch light app".
