I'm trying...
I'm trying...
If I can ever stop buying/selling cameras, I'll do just that!
Playing with gear, old or new, is more fun.
I'll be out shooting (later) today, with the 'cord and my digikit (Nikon D700, four lenses), in Surabaya. Next Tuesday, to Bali for a few days, then home.
When one is retired and in good health, every day is Christmas.

My thinking exactly.

The shipping to Canada will bankrupt you. Just getting the stuff out of Tasmania will cost you a kidney and all your toenails!
I would most definitely go for that 21mm. One went locally for about A$800 recently, but it looks like something dredged up from the wreck of the Titanic. Not sure how well it performed.
Oh, and BTW, our 'as new' M3 as good as it looks, needs a complete slow shutter speed overhaul. Also something in the rangefinder 'shifts' the viewed image slightly when we close-focus. Otherwise, that M3 works just fine.
I do wish I had kept my M2. Sold it (with a 2.8 Elmar) in 1988. I still think about it to this day.
One should never look gift horses in the mouth. Or beware of (citizens of ?) bearing gifts. Or both.

One week ago I spend almost one grand to get NiB Bessa R2M kit. Moneygram and shipping included. Because I'm done with M film Leicas for one grand. One grand Leica here is Leica due to CLA.
If I'll have another grand, it will be 21mm M lens made in Midland.
Please, put me on the waiting list for your darkroom paper!

I would be tempted by Fufi X100S . And I was , but since I prefer a true RF and interchangeable lenses, I went for a CV 21/1.8 and love it!

Finally at home...
Perhaps the 1947 Leica IIIc I have been looking for, or the LensBaby Velvet 85 to play with.
But since I do have all the cameras and lenses I yearned for, I would buy lots of film and hold back some money for the development in a decent lab.
