Television Grunt
Well, I betrayed the flock today. I have to openly apologize for my indiscretion. I strayed from the fold and humbly ask your forgiveness. I went to an estate sale for a former newspaper photographer. I wasn't really in the market for anything new. I casually browsed the tables jittery with excitement at what I might find. I slowly looked over the left over belongings of someone else's life. Books, DVDs, cooking apparatus. I went up the stairs. I turned the corner into the bedroom and there she was. Such a vile, evil temptress. Clad in black, which served only to excenuate her sensual curves. Oh, but she had body guards. The two stood watch over her, casting a menacing glare to all who caught her eye. Why had fate dealt me such a cruel blow? I knew, from the moment I caught her gaze, that she must be mine. I could not leave without her in my grasp, but what of the guards? Divide and conquer was my only hope. I tentaively reached out and secured her in my grasp. The guards were good, as they made me doubt my choice. I needed to think, I needed a plan...
I took a step back and looked around for help... none was to be found. I must confront my demons. Slowly, ever so smoothly I reached towards the table. I tried to distract the guards by feigning interest in other items. They were not fooled, these guards knew the game all too well. Finally, after steeling my nerve, I grabbed the first guard and wrestled him off the table. Into the bag he went. He didn't stop fighting though. He kept taunting me. I had to leave the room. Still, eventhough I tried to distract myself by looking through the cast off items strewn about the house, I could not get him out of my head. Finally, I had reached my breaking point. I was defeated. I hung my head in shame and slowly made my way to the cashier's table. She chuckled to herself I she took my check. I could not force myself to meet her gaze. She knew my secret and in such she knew my soul. I hurried out to the car, trying not to hear the cackles following me out. I was an addict, there was no more hiding it, but I took pleasure in the knowledge that the temptress had left with me.
I was now the proud owner of a nice, clean, vintage Nikon N90s and F3 HP with an MD4. My excitement was tempered by my shame knowing I had betrayed the RF flock.
I come here today to ask forgiveness and to pray that there may be some form of help fo a soul like myself.😛
Pictures will follow shortly. Also, eventhough I already have one F3, the prices were tooooooo good to pass on the other one. I did leave one behind, one of the toughest things I have done lately. Especially knowing what the F3 HPs bring over on Ebay.
