I've found a few questionable opinions on the Fotodiox LTM-to-M screw-on adapters. I'm looking for a quick way to keep using my screw-mount 35mm on my new (old) M6.

My biggest concern is obviously achieving focal-coupling, infinity focus and general usual use of the rangefinder.

Does anyone have recent experience with using them?

Thanks,

Noah

Fotodiox LTM to M adapter review?

I have the Fotodiox 35mm adapter that I use with my 35 Summaron 3.5 on an M8. Focus is perfect. No problems here.

I have a couple of hte Fotodiox's and they're good. No problems at all. Off the Hong Kong knock offs theirs are the best. They are selling through some one in the USA now I believe.

Fotodiox adapters are made in Illiinois, somewhere near Chicago. I have one for my Canon 50mm f1.2 and I don't have any problem with it: focus is correct, and so is lens handling (considering that the lens is not attached to a camera for some periods of time).

I also have a Fotodiox UV 43mm filter in my Nikkor 50mm f1.4 lens, on my Nikon S2 body. It's silver, BTW, and that makes it perfect for use with this Nikkor lens and also with the Zeiss Ikon 35mm T (which, IIRC, also has a 43mm filter size).

Conclusion: they are very reliable products. Take care!

SolaresL -- the products are sold from Illinois or MADE in illinois? I was under the impression we don't make things in this country anymore. Except massive weapons systems and television shows. I was fairly certain, in any case, that my first Fotodiox purchase some years ago was from Hong Kong but I could be misremembering.

Anyone know if these adapter line up correctly or do they throw the depth of field scale off to the right like other chinese adapters?
