Hi folks, I found a complete camera kit that I would like to sell (I already have too many cameras). Before selling it, I'd like to know a bit more about it and test it to make sure everything works.
I think it's a Plaubel Makina IIs, after a quick online search. It's a brown leather case with the camera and:
-a roll film back
-a back with ground glass
-three plate backs
-Anticomar f=10cm 1:2.9
-Orthar f=7,3cm 1:6.8
-Tele-Makinar f=19cm 1:4.8
-one lenshood/sunshade that fits all three
-seven or eight original filters
-tripod bush
-a big tube-like accessory I don't understand
Everything is in relatively good condition, not mint but certainly not abused, and everything seems to work well. The only thing I can't figure out is the rangefinder: I can see the double image but I can't get it to move when focussing the bellows. Is the rangefinder not coupled and do I need to adjust another knob, is the coupling broken, or do I need to activate the coupling some way or another?
If anybody has a link to a manual that would be very welcome (I found one online, but it's for the IIIR and while useful, it's not perfect).
Finally, since I am planning to sell this, does anybody have a rough estimate of what this is worth? Just curious for now, I will not determine an exact price untill I have examined and tested everything, but I'd like to know if I'm looking at around $50, $200, $500, ...
Best regards,

And the rest...
This kit is for sale, I'll put it in the classifieds later today. Everything is in pretty good condition, the glass has tiny dust spots and one lens a touch of haze, but nothing that will affect picture quality I think. Mechanically everything works fine, the rangefinder is visible and moves when focussing (cannot guarantee accuracy though), the shutter speeds all work and seem to be spot-on, ... Any questions just ask!
