That small button is pushed down in the direction of the arrow to allow the frame counter wheel to be reset. It is possible to reset the counter without pushing the button down, but the wheel spins freely when using the button. Probably not good for the camera to reset the frame counter w/o the button

Ah-HAH! So that's how you do it - thank you dexdog. I noticed that I couldn't turn the frame counter, but followed the "don't force it" rule at the time. Now I know.

All I can say is - wow! I'm not a professional photographer or anything, but the roll of Tri-X 400 B&W film I put through this camera came out great. Tack sharp, great depth of field, nice bokeh, and no lens flare - just a bit of lovely "misty white haze" from the sun streaming in through windows in the background.
I'll scan the negs and post a few ASAP. Do people here usually link to Flickr? Or is there another preferred place to host the photos?

Flickr is used by quite a few members, and allows larger images than using the attachments option with the thread.
