Roll has fuji written on either end cap, I'd say it looks to be from the 80s. Any suggestion as to the best way of dealing with it or is it a lost cause?

Rodinal 1+100 stand-developed for one hour has given me enjoyable/acceptable results for old film of unknown provenience&exposure.

This article is a nice read about stand development, which basically boils down to "pour the chemicals in the tank, knock it a few times to dislodge the air bubbles, and let it sit."

The hardest part of developing old film is getting it on to a developing reel.

I use HC-110 dilution B to develop old films. It's good at keeping the fog levels at bay.
