Folks,

I'm an active rangefinder user (Leica M digital), and I was SHOCKED to be waking down a road in Rocky Mountain National Park, when I spotted a piece of rangefinder gear along the side of the road! I rarely ever see another RF shooter...

I will say that the item is made by Voigtlander, but leave the rest of the details to the person to claim for proof of ownership.

If you or anyone you know were in RMNP this weekend, you may want to check your RF kit and see if anything is missing.

Please pass this along to anyone who may have been there.

Email or PM me...

Ha ha ha... well, it's not a nickel heliar, but I figure the person who lost it would be tickeld to have it back. I don't think I'm going to find the owner, though...

Maybe there's a ranger station or park staff around there that you could tip on your find? If I lost something I'd like back, that would be the first place I'd go...

If all else fails: finders keepers...

Yes, That would the best way to go....
They will take your personal info, and hold the item for 30days, if no one claims it, it is yours legally.. you will sign a form that proves you waited 30 days, and it will signed over to you as the new owner.... Been their/Done That, with a $800.00 gold ladies watch I found on a shopping mall floor a few years back.

Already done that. I figure that the 'lost and found' would work if they discovered it was missing right away, but since they didn't get any reports of missing items, I suspect that won't be the way it gets recovered (if it does).
