I like the stuff of Joel Meyerowitz because it's so graphical and it's more that just people on the street.

I do have one bone of contention with him though. He claims he becomes invisible on the street because of his bobbing and weaving and body language. Naw, he's invisible simply because he is in a large city like New York.

Personally I don't buy into the invisible bit. But the way I look at it is if he thinks / feels he's invisible and it works for him then that's all that matters.

I didn't really knew Joel Meyerowitz until 2 weeks ago when I saw him in the the trailer of a short film about New York streetphotography "Everybody street" by Cheryl Dunn. A very inspiring person.
