I found a shot roll of kodachrome in a drawer yesterday. If I had to guess, it was probably shot around 1994. It's been in the plastic canister at room temperature throughout that time.

I was considering sending it to Dwayne's but some googling has suggested that it might be best to develop it as B&W at this point.

I'm leaning toward just sending it out but if I were to try B&W development myself I'm not sure what times to use. I currently have a bottle of ilfosol 3 and kodak rapid fixer.

Any thoughts or advice?

Send it to Dwaynes ! The film doesn't have dye in it (that is added during processing), like E6 or C41 films do, so it can be very robust. You can search on APUG, but i think you'll find that it is not possible to develop this in a simple way as black-and-white.
