Frame Spacing?

I've noticed that the frame spacing on my IIIa is a lot tighter(twice) as my 'modern' cameras. It's not a problem - Just have to pay more attention when cutting film, but is this normal?

It's the same on my IIIf and it is normal.

No two cameras ever produced the same spacing width. Some are just 'tighter' than others.

Wait until you use a wide angle like a 28mm. The spacing will appear to be even tighter.

I'm using a 15mm. It's quite tight.
